How we verify reviews

We publish a review only after we have checked that its author bought or tested the Package. We compare the e-mail address in the review with our list of buyers or our list of testers. Reviews we cannot check are not published. Testers’ reviews are always marked as such.
There are no reviews on this website yet. This page explains the rules we will follow when we publish them.
Where reviews come from
- Buyers. Seven days after a purchase, every buyer gets the same one-time e-mail asking how the Package works for them – not only satisfied buyers. The answer goes through our review form, where you enter the e-mail address you used for the purchase. We check it against our list of buyers. Published as: Verified buyer.
- Testers. Testers receive the Package free of charge in return for honest feedback (see Become a tester). We check their e-mail address against our list of testers. Published as: Received the Package free of charge as a tester.
What we publish
- Every checked review whose author agreed to its publication – positive and negative alike.
- The name in the form the author chose. Testers’ reviews are shown with their full name and a link to their public profile.
- We do not change the text, except for fixing typos with the author’s agreement. We may shorten a review without changing its meaning.
- If we show an average rating, we say how many reviews it is based on and how many of them came from testers.
What we do not publish
We leave out a review only for the same reasons for everyone: offensive language, personal data of other people, content that is not about the Package, or a review we could not check. A low rating alone is never a reason.
What we never do
- We do not pay for reviews and do not give discounts, refunds or gifts for them. The only exception is the free tester license, and it is always disclosed with the review.
- We do not write reviews ourselves and do not ask anyone else to write them for us.
- We do not ask only satisfied customers.
